Introduction

About Photovoltaic Glass

Photovoltaic glass is a type of special glass that can generate electricity by solar radiation through lamination into solar cells, and has relevant current lead-in devices and cables.Advantages include but not limited to pleasing appearance, controllable light transmission, energy-saving power generation. Furthermore, it does not need fuel, and will not produce exhaust gas, waste heat, waste residue or noise pollution, which contribute to the wide application in buildings, such as photovoltaic glass curtain walls, photovoltaic glass roofs, smart solar windows and solar pavilions and etc.Our photovoltaic glass can be divided into mono-crystalline silicon photovoltaic glass, poly-crystalline silicon photovoltaic glass and cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass in terms of material, or BAPV and BIPV in terms of installation location. We play the role of a designer and system integrator of architectural photovoltaic systems, providing design services for whole photovoltaic systems, as well as supplying complete system materials and equipment including photovoltaic glass, inverters, parallel cabinets, energy storage equipment, convergence boxes, etc.

Advantage of Building Integrated Photovoltaic
BIPV - Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) technology integrates solar power (photovoltaic) products into the building. It is a new concept of application for solar power generation, take it easier, it's install the solar photovoltaic arrays on the exterior of the building envelope to provide electricity.Based on how the photovoltaic arrays combine with buildings, BIPV can be divided into two categories: one is the combination of photovoltaic arrays and buildings, the other is the integration of photovoltaic arrays with buildings. For example, photovoltaic tile roof, photovoltaic curtain wall and photovoltaic day-lighting roof, etc.

BAPV - Building Attached Photovoltaic is a solar photovoltaic power generation system attached

to a building. Its main function is to generate electricity without conflicting with the function of

the building and without destroying or weakening the function of the original building.

Selection Photovoltaic Cell Materials

Mono-crystalline Silicon refers to the overall crystallization of silicon material in the form of a single crystal. Currently it is popularly applied in photovoltaic power generation materials. Mono-crystalline silicon solar cells are the most mature technology in silicon-based solar cells.Compared to poly-crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon solar cells, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of mono-crystalline silicon is the highest.

Poly-crystalline Silicon Poly-crystalline silicon solar cell is a type of new-generation cell, combining the high conversion efficiency, long lifespan advantage like mono-crystalline silicon cells, and relative simplicity of the material preparation process like amorphous silicon thin film cells. Its conversion efficiency is around 17-18%, slightly lower than mono-crystalline silicon solar cells, however, there is no significant efficiency decline, so it is possible to be fabricated on cheap substrate materials, which contribute to apparently lower cost comparing to mono-crystalline silicon cells. Meanwhile, the efficiency of poly-crystalline silicon is higher than amorphous silicon thin film cells.
